North American Studies

The world loves American culture, but is deeply distrustful of American politics and power. Radboud University offers critical insights into both. The master program enables students to acquire solid expertise in relation to the concept: "America in various fields": The Story of the US, literature, culture (including the popular culture, films, theaters and art) as well as political history, foreign policy, constitutional law, religion and social science. The master program at Radboud University differs from other US programs that focus on the cultural and political ties between the US, Europe and its neighbors.
